Location: East Bay + San Francisco
Company: Joydrop – The Joy Movement
About Joydrop
Joydrop is building the emotional infrastructure for the digital age — a social recognition platform where appreciation becomes portable, visible, and contagious. We’re on a mission to spark more moments of joy, gratitude, and human connection.
About the Role
We’re looking for an outgoing, creative, and kind-hearted person to help us capture real stories of joy. You’ll be out in the community—college campuses, coffee shops, and local events—asking people to share moments when someone sparked their joy.
What You’ll Do
Interview people in public spaces about moments that made them smile or feel seen.
Capture short-form videos (on your phone or our gear) for Joydrop’s social channels.
Help brainstorm content hooks for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Represent Joydrop with warmth, curiosity, and positive energy.
Help spread the #LightTheJoy movement!
Who You Are
Friendly, confident, and comfortable talking to strangers.
Passionate about people, storytelling, and creating meaningful content.
Creative eye for authentic, spontaneous moments.
Reliable and self-directed, with good communication skills.
Experience with short-form video or street interviews is a plus, not a must.
Compensation
$15 per hour + $10 per approved story
(Each story = a usable, authentic clip ready for posting on Joydrop’s social media.)
Perks
Build real-world storytelling and interviewing experience.
Be part of a growing social movement that celebrates gratitude and joy.
Flexible hours (5–10 hrs/week) and community-driven experiences.
