Position Details
Witness to Mass Incarceration is launching MyBooBoosHoodies, an e-commerce campaign featuring adorable dog hoodies, with proceeds supporting formerly incarcerated and system-impacted entrepreneurs. We are looking for creative and dog-loving interns to lead the social media influencer campaign and help bring BooBoo’s brand to life online.
You’ll work closely with the Executive Director and the Creative Director to design, develop, and execute a campaign strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
Qualifications
- Passion for social justice and creative digital marketing
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and influencer culture (especially dog content!)
- Experience in creating or managing social media campaigns (can be personal or school-based)
- Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus (Canva, CapCut, etc.)
- Self-motivated, organized, and deadline-driven
- Photography and dog-handling experience is a bonus
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a launch campaign for MyBooBoosHoodies
- Create and schedule engaging dog-themed content to promote hoodie sales
- Build a list of micro and pet influencers to contact and collaborate with
- Monitor engagement and iterate on content to drive traffic to mybooboo.org
- Coordinate dog photo shoots (if local) or gather user-generated content
- Report weekly on campaign performance and audience engagement
Expected Outcomes
- A cohesive social media campaign that launches MyBooBoosHoodies to a wider audience
- Growth in social media engagement and follower count across platforms
- Influencer partnerships or collaborations that increase hoodie visibility and sales
- Increased traffic to the e-commerce site, resulting in hoodie sales that fund the Art of Tailoring program for formerly incarcerated entrepreneurs
