About the Role
We’re seeking a Design Intern for Spring 2026 who is passionate about information design and has an exceptional eye for detail. This is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and professional connections within a fast-paced market research environment.
A key component of this internship is a capstone project that serves as a tangible demonstration of your learning and contributions. This deliverable not only reinforces your practical experience but also enhances your professional portfolio, illustrating your ability to both lead a strategic effort and apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges.
Reporting directly to our Director of Narrative & Design, you'll be instrumental in translating complex research findings into clear, compelling visual narratives. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and formatting internal and client deliverables, with a strong focus on Google Slides presentations—as well as memos, infographics, and videos.
- Creating visual elements that adhere to established brand guidelines.
- Executing precise data visualizations that accurately and effectively communicate complex information.
- Ensuring that all designs strictly adhere to brand and reporting guidelines, maintaining consistency and a high level of accuracy across all materials.
- Gaining an understanding of how effective design enhances our research and recommendations.
Regardless of your location, you'll be expected to be available during at least part of the standard Eastern Time business day to ensure effective collaboration.
Who We're Looking For (Qualifications)
You're a college junior or senior, recent graduate, or a young professional with a keen interest in design within the market research or communications consulting world. You possess:
- Strong communication skills (a priority for a remote role).
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in visual execution.
- A team-player mindset with a strong work ethic and a willingness to tackle any challenge.
- Background, experience, or relevant coursework in graphic design, visual media, market research, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of information design principles and the ability to translate data into clear visuals.
- Experience with or a strong aptitude for Google Slides for professional presentations.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or comparable professional software (intermediate or working knowledge at minimum).

Consistent with our commitment to pay equity and transparency, the good faith hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $18.00 and $19.00 USD. The exact compensation may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, and work location. This is the pay range the company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting.
