POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Production Manager leads manufacturing operations, ensuring a safety, compliance, and high-performance. This role drives excellence in quality, efficiency, and team development, while fostering a positive work environment. As a key member of the Plant Leadership Team, the Production Manager contributes to site and company strategy execution.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Lead and develop production teams to achieve safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Drive efficiency, productivity, and On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) performance.
• Implement standardized, data-driven processes to improve consistency and output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to execute production plans and resolve challenges.
• Establish and maintain labor standards and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Support and ensure compliance with FDA and ISO 13485 standards, maintaining audit readiness.
• Oversee new product introductions and process improvements to ensure operational excellence.
• Participate in Plant Leadership Team meetings, contributing to strategy, planning, and performance reviews.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and a strong, people-focused culture.
• Promote continuous improvement and customer focus throughout production operations.

Core Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems and data-driven decision-making.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) 
• Medical device industry experience – preferred
• FDA-regulated and ISO 13485-certified environments experience – preferred
• Production planning or scheduling – preferred
• acquisition or merger integration – preferred
• Medical device industry experience – preferred

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas – preferred: Engineering, Operations, or a related technical or business discipline preferred. 
• Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree, including a combination of education, certifications, and relevant work experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This position is based in Lakewood, New Jersey, operating on a day shift, Monday through Friday.
• Relocation is required for approximately 2–3 years, followed by relocation back to Salt Lake City, Utah – relocation assistance will be provided.

COMPENSATION

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 – $92,000, which reflects the total compensation opportunity and may include, but is not limited to, base salary, discretionary bonus eligibility, and relocation assistance (provided as either a lump sum or monthly stipend).

Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and relocation requirements.
