Intern, Sports Management

Florida Prime Sports is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with athletic events and facility maintenance. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field who are looking for hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Event Support: Shadow the Director of Sport Operations, Director of Events and Marketing, and Director of Coaching to learn the operational aspects of weekly events and facility maintenance.

Event Participation: Attend events and games to build familiarity with Florida Prime coaches, athletes, partners, and programs.

Setup and Breakdown: Assist with setting up and breaking down equipment for events, ensuring all materials are organized and ready for use.

Facility Maintenance: Gain experience in facility upkeep, including lining fields, setting up goals, and maintaining clean and safe environments throughout the week.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional in-person customer service during events, interacting professionally with coaches, athletes, and guests.

Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the Sporting Director.

Qualifications:

Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Sports Management, Event Management, or a related field. Must be a senior.

Availability: Full-time hours with flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for sports and event management.

Attributes: Dependable, enthusiastic, and proactive with the ability to work well in a team environment.
