Marketing Intern

Drake and Associates is a dynamic financial planning firm dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional financial guidance and delivering the ultimate client experience, based in Waukesha, WI. We are rapidly expanding and looking for outstanding individuals to join our team and help us continue our growth.

We are looking for “A” players who want to learn and become part of a fast-paced, growing firm. This is a flexible, full or part-time intern opportunity.

Position Summary

Are you looking to explore a career in marketing and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment? As a Marketing Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience working closely with our marketing team to help you explore various facets of marketing within a professional services environment. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while sharpening your creative, analytical, and organizational skills to support your future career growth.

This internship is a great opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in class, build your professional skills, and discover which areas of marketing you’re most passionate about.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm, plan, and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist with the creation and distribution of newsletters, multimedia content, and event materials.
  • Support coordination of client workshops and firm events.
  • Maintain marketing materials inventory and ensure consistency across platforms.
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to generate reports and track marketing performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • Classroom experience in one or more of the following areas: Marketing, Business, or Finance.
