Privacy Sales Research Intern

Ardent Privacy is looking for a highly motivated graduate student who possesses a strong passion for privacy and technology. We are offering a paid internship position, requiring 150 hours of commitment. This internship focuses on sales, marketing, and prospect lead generation within the Enterprise Software sales domain, specifically B2B.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an MBA or graduate degree in marketing or technology-related fields.
  • Demonstrated passion for technology policy issues relevant to privacy.
  • Excellent communication and marketing skills.
  • Proven research and analytical abilities.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Legal or law experience, and enrollment in a Maryland university system, would be advantageous.
  • Resourcefulness, determination, and tenacity.
  • Comfortable engaging with potential customers and partners.
  • Technical knowledge, skills, and aptitude are a plus.
  • Industry-specific experience and knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and contribute to written projects covering various tech policy issues, consumer privacy, financial technology, and cybersecurity.
  • Engage in sales and marketing activities, including assisting with digital marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development of data privacy technology.
  • Identify and analyze emerging issues in tech policy.
  • Provide assistance with administrative tasks, social media posting, and events.
  • Utilize HubSpot, Mailchimp, and other technology automation tools for data analytics and management.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
