Overview

USail is a new venture launched by the same innovative minds who brought you ULimo — now setting sail into uncharted waters! We’re seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Manager to help onboard and coordinate support for our growing crew of sailors (employees, interns, and contractors). You will be the first point of contact for new team members, guiding them through onboarding, helping with necessary documentation, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. This role is ideal for someone passionate about team culture, clear communication, and efficient systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Welcome new employees/interns and contractors aboard
  • Manage and organize onboarding documents and agreements (NDAs, internship agreements, etc.) 
  • Create and update onboarding templates, checklists, and guides
  • Coordinate intro meetings or calls with leadership
  • Assist in building SOPs and maintain a directory of HR documents
  • Serve as a point of contact for onboarding-related questions and support

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Experience with Google Workspace, Notion, or other workflow tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously
  • A welcoming, team-first attitude
