Sales Intern (Year Round)

Your tasks

  • Support technical and business objectives of prospective customers (ie. Cost Break Down forms).
  • Provides product demos and technical reviews to qualified customers on request.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales order documents.
  • Track and monitor change management process and provide pricing proposals to project team that improve profit and can be accepted at the customer.
  • Derive market prices for products based on current customer pricing and expected competition.
  • Conducts updates within the sales planning tools for respective customers or product segment.
  • Enters new customer data and sales data for current customers into computer database.
  • Responsible for department marketing while being acutely aware of the competitive landscape. Provide proposals for new business opportunity based on competitor and market research
  • Actively manages with the project team the acquisition phase including kick-off of cross-functional team discussions to gain the necessary inputs for on time quotations while managing import KPI’s.
  • Maintains customer relationships.

Your Profile

  • Start Date - This position is planned to start November 1, 2025, or earlier depending on availability
  • In office at Auburn Hills location 3-4 days a week depending on school schedule
  • Must be currently attending a college or university (Graduation year of 2027 or later)
  • Able to work 20 hours per week on average during the school year/ flexible schedule
  • Able to work 30-40 hours per week on average during the summer/ flexible schedule
