Medical Scribe

Medical scribe position available for college graduates interested in going to medical school. 

• Opportunity to work with providers in different fields such as primary care, neurology, psychiatry, chronic pain management, and substance abuse treatment.
• Opportunity to work with underserved populations that include but not limited to regional jail inmates, impoverished communities, and patients with substance addiction.
• Training to build expertise in a variety of electronic medical systems that we will use when seeing patients in multiple institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Medical documentation for patient encounters as dictated by provider in real time, medication management through various electronic medical records.
• General administrative support to office and clinical staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year commitment upon hiring.
• We are looking for candidates interested in career in medicine and look to build experience and add to their medical school application.
• Ability to work at high volume and high paced clinic.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
