About Us

Camp Bernadette (girls) and Camp Fatima (boys) are overnight Catholic summer camps dedicated to providing a fun, faith-based camp experience for children. Our mission is to create a welcoming environment where campers can grow, explore, and make lifelong memories and friendships.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Communications Intern to join our team for the summer! This role is perfect for an aspiring communications and multimedia professional looking to gain hands-on experience in content creation while capturing the magic of camp life.

The Communications Intern will be responsible for:

• Photography & Videography – Capturing daily moments of camp activities, special events, and camper experiences.
• Photo Album Creation – Compiling and organizing daily albums for families to view during our camp sessions.
• Video Production – Shooting and editing footage to create engaging promotional videos for marketing and social media.
• Social Media Content – Creating and scheduling posts for Instagram and Facebook to keep families and alumni engaged.
• Email Newsletters – Assisting in drafting and designing camp newsletters to communicate with parents and alumni.
• Collaborating with Staff – Working closely with the camp leadership team to ensure content aligns with the camp’s mission and values.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with photography and videography. Familiarity with Adobe Suite is a plus.
• Understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube).
• Excellent writing skills for captions, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with various camp teams.
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Willingness to be active in a fast-paced, outdoor camp environment.
• Previous experience with camp life or outdoor recreation is a plus!
• Ability to live and work at camp for the duration of our camping season from June 8th - August 22nd (Flexible end and start dates)
