The Opportunity

 

This is not your normal gig! Epicenter Productions is looking for Stagehands to join our on-call labor pool. This is a unique opportunity that offers flexible scheduling, a competitive pay rate, and hands-on training in multiple fields within the live events world.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

As a Stagehand, you will be essential to the success of our live events, working in various roles including:

Load-In/Load-Out: Safely and efficiently loading and unloading production equipment (staging, sound, lighting, video, backline) from trucks.

Set-Up and Strike: Assisting with the assembly and disassembly of temporary stage structures, trusses, sound systems, and lighting rigs.

Event Support: Working closely with department heads and talented professionals to execute the production needs during the event.

General Labor: Following all safety protocols and directions from the Production Manager or Crew Chief.

Qualifications:

 

Strong Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and a proactive approach to all tasks.

Willingness to Learn: A genuine interest in music and live events with an eagerness to acquire new technical skills.

Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand/work for extended periods.

Team Player: The ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a diverse crew.

Availability: Must be available for flexible, on-call shifts which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
