Agricultural Field Assistant Internship

Conagra Brands is dedicated to training and developing talented employees. As part of this initiative, we offer several Agricultural Field Assistant Internships for Summer 2025. In this position you will support the Ag Operations Specialist in the management of specialty crop production for our Birds Eye Foods label. The position is based out of Waseca MN but Intern can live anywhere within a 60 miles radius for the summer. Intern will be issued a company truck with all fuel and repairs included. Essential job functions: 

  • Assist in specialty crop production including planting, seed delivery, cultivating, and harvesting
  • Scout sweet corn, green bean, pea, and carrot fields for pest issues per IPM guidelines
  • Assist with data collection in field trials such as stand counts, stand ratings, and disease thresholds
  • Document bloom and tassel dates; sample fields for harvest maturity tracking
  • Record keeping and documentation using our proprietary computer software program
  • Build strong relationships with Producers, Vendors, and External Partners

Qualifications:

  • Qualified individuals will display a strong desire to learn and gain hands-on experience in the Agriculture industry
  • Pursuing a degree in any Agriculture related field
  • Valid Driver’s License
