Intern Responsibilities
Develop skills in job description creation and recruitment by:
- Help with creating and maintaining job descriptions that align with company needs.
- Supporting with publishing job descriptions on multiple job boards to attract qualified candidates.
- Screening resumes and reviewing assessment forms to identify qualified candidates.
- Gain experience in candidate management by:
- Help with scheduling interviews and coordinating interview logistics.
- Shadowing and support interviewing candidates to assess their qualifications and fit for the role.
- Providing positive and negative feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Contribute to employee onboarding and HR administration by:
- Assisting with new employee onboarding and post-hire processing.
- Help with verifying to ensure pre-hire documentation requirements are met.
- Contributing to the improvement of new hire training.
- Identifying areas for improvement in HR systems and procedures.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants for this internship program must meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution and receiving school credit for the internship.
- Must be able to demonstrate that the internship is integrated with their coursework, enhancing their educational experience.
- Must fulfill specific educational requirements set by their institution, department, or major program of study.
Qualifications
- Degree/profile in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology etc.
- Fluent English (Bilingual is a plus).
- Business-oriented and open-minded.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to gain people's confidence and put them at ease.
- Able to cope with pressure.
- Flexible and adaptable.
Duration, Schedule, and Pay
Internship Duration: This is a 3-6 month unpaid internship.
Positions Available: We are seeking either 1 full-time intern or 2 part-time interns (one for morning shifts, one for afternoon shifts).
Shift Options: Choose from the following shift options:
- 20 hours per week for 6 months
- 30 hours per week for 4 months
- 40 hours per week for 3 months
Daily Schedule: You will be required to work 4 hours per day between 6 AM and 10 PM EST. There is flexibility in choosing the specific hours that best fit your schedule, as long as you complete your required shift hours for the week by Friday at 10 PM EST.
