Trillium offers members an exceptional array of amenities, including traditional dining, recreational activities, and stunning golf and lakefront views. In mid-2020, the Club unveiled a multimillion-dollar renovation of our main Clubhouse restaurant, enhancing its facilities with modern upgrades while preserving its history and charm. In 2024 and 2025, the Club is rebuilding its lakefront restaurant and resort complex, The Landings. This $15M rebuild will invigorate the Club with a truly singular amenity on the shores of Lake Glenville. Job Summary
The Landings Manager will report directly to the F&B Director and oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations at our Landings restaurant. This is a salaried, year-round position. The role will be integral to the launch and ongoing management of The Landings, ensuring the highest level of service, quality, and member satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of leading food and beverage operations in a high-end environment and can effectively build and inspire a team to deliver an exceptional member experience.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic and Team Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day food and beverage operations at The Landings, including the restaurant, bar, event spaces, and poolside services.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team of front-of-the-house staff, fostering a positive, service-oriented culture.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with the club’s vision for delivering top-quality service and cuisine.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to ensure all staff meet the club's standards for quality and hospitality.
- Create a collaborative environment between the kitchen and front-of-house to ensure smooth, consistent operations.

Operational Excellence
- Oversee all food and beverage inventory management at The Landings, including ordering, vendor relationships, cost controls, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure that all outlets comply with local health, safety, and hygiene regulations and adhere to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and labor costs, optimizing staffing levels to maintain a balance between service standards and operational efficiency.
- Develop and lead The Landings’ Food and Beverage team to provide the finest service to members.
- Work with the Food and Beverage Director, the Executive Chef, and The Landings Chef to ensure the operation runs at an optimal level.

Member Experience & Service Quality
- Develop and maintain service protocols that create an exceptional, personalized experience for members, addressing any special needs or preferences.
- Regularly engage with members to gather feedback, handle inquiries, and ensure satisfaction, building long-term relationships with club members.
- Create wine lists and beverage programs that reflect current trends and member preferences.
- Work closely with the F&B Manager to assist with planning and overseeing club events, private parties, and special occasions.
- Work with members to gather ideas and feedback.

Financial Performance & Budget Management
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Accounting to set and achieve The Landings food and beverage revenue targets.
- Prepare and manage an annual budget for The Landings, monitoring financial performance and controlling costs in alignment with financial goals.
- Conduct regular reporting and analysis to track sales, expenses, and profitability, making data-driven decisions to optimize revenue and efficiency while providing the highest level of service to the members.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed of industry trends, emerging food and beverage practices, and member demands, bringing fresh ideas to elevate the club’s offerings continually.
- Drive initiatives that align with sustainability goals, incorporating locally-sourced ingredients, eco-friendly practices, and waste reduction strategies.
- Regularly assess and update menus, pricing, and service methods to keep The Landings competitive and relevant.
- Develop incentives for staff to allow for a fun, engaged team.
Qualifications
- Education: College degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership role in a private club, luxury resort, restaurant, or upscale hotel environment, with a preferred background in managing multiple dining outlets. Knowledge of the Jonas platform is a plus, along with extensive experience in training servers, bartenders, etc.
- Leadership: Proven experience in leading a diverse team of food and beverage professionals with a collaborative, service-driven approach.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift a minimum of 45 lbs.

Socialized Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to successfully open and manage new dining facilities, including experience in pre-opening procedures, training, and setting service standards.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
- Personal Attributes: High level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
