Loan Officer Assistant ( Bilingual Chinese Mandarin) Consultant
Description
The Loan Officer Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting loan officers by managing administrative tasks, communicating with clients, and ensuring a smooth loan application process. This position requires fluency in Chinese Mandarin and English to effectively assist Mandarin-speaking clients and translate key financial documents. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, strong communication skills and relationship-building with realtors and referral partners to ensure a smooth mortgage experience
Please note that this role requires in-office work at our Flushing Office with no remote options available. - Work hours for this position are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm.
Job Responsibilities
• Client & Realtor Communication: Make outbound calls to realtors, referral partners, and clients to build relationships and follow up on leads.
• Loan Processing Support: Assist with gathering and reviewing loan documents, ensuring accuracy before submission.
• Pipeline Management: Track loan applications, follow up with clients and provide status updates.
• Administrative Assistance: Manage the Loan Officer’s schedule, emails, and client communication.
• Marketing: Own the social media posting and management for all campaigns
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure loan files meet company and regulatory guidelines.
• Customer Service: Serve as a key point of contact, addressing client inquiries and guiding them through the loan process.
Qualifications
• Fluent in Chinese and English (both written and spoken)
• Experience in mortgage lending, banking, insurance or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan processing software (a plus)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude, and Desire to grow with our team and go above and beyond
