As an art teacher, you will be responsible for inspiring and instructing students in various art forms while also leveraging your marketing and media skills to promote the art program within the school and community. Looking for a creative, inspiring, and student-centered Art Teacher to teach high school-level art classes:
Studio Art
Art History
Foundations of Art / General Visual Arts
The ideal candidate will foster an appreciation of the arts, encourage self-expression,
and help students build both technical skills and confidence in their creative work.

Responsibilities:
Teach high school art classes (Studio Art, Art History, and introductory visual arts etc).
Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with NYMA’s academic goals.
Introduce students to a variety of artistic techniques, media, and art history.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom/studio environment.
Encourage creativity while reinforcing classroom structure and respect.
Support student exhibitions and school events showcasing student artwork.
