Location: Lory Student Center, Colorado State University with some remote work
Organization: Rocky Mountain Student Media Corporation (RMSMC)
Pay: $15.00/hour Hours: Vary based on client workload, average 4 to 5 a week.
About Fifty03’ Visuals
Fifty03’ Visuals is a client facing professional video production branch of Rocky Mountain Student Media. We create high-quality video content for a wide range of clients. We do promotional and educational projects, live events, music videos, and social media campaigns. We aim to combine creative storytelling with professional production to bring every individual client’s vision to life.
Position Overview
As a Fifty03’ Visuals Crew Member, you’ll take part in every stage of the video production process, planning, filming, editing, and revising video projects. You’ll also be given the opportunity to learn the business side of video production, including project management, client communication, and video marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Film and edit high-quality videos for both clients and internal projects
- Collaborate with a team to create engaging content
- Assist with organizing and maintaining video equipment and file systems
- Brainstorm creative video ideas and pitches for future projects
- Attend weekly meetings and training sessions
Qualifications
Required:
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable editing software)
- Skilled in camera operation and production techniques
- Prior experience in video production (academic or professional)
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- 3–10 hours of availability per week during the academic year
- Commitment of at least one semester (longer preferred)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with live production and audio recording
- Knowledge of lighting setups and motion graphics
- Proficiency in After Effects and/or Photoshop
- Familiarity with client-based production environments
- Availability during summer months
Equipment is provided, though it would be beneficial if you have your own version of Adobe Suite.
