Jr. Engineering Opportunity in Fort Wayne, Indiana

Overview:
Join our team as a Jr. Engineering Technologist supporting smart equipment projects. You’ll assist with planning, implementation, and ongoing support of smart equipment systems. This role is ideal for recent engineering technology graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with planning and implementing smart equipment solutions.

Support the ongoing operation and troubleshooting of smart equipment.

Serve as a technical point of contact for assigned projects, working closely with team coordinators to resolve issues.

Maintain records, prepare reports, and assist with basic cost estimates.

Participate in planning meetings and contribute to project scheduling and maintenance activities.

Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and solve routine problems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology (ABET-accredited preferred) or related engineering field.

Entry-level technical proficiency with ability to learn quickly.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Willingness to travel locally (South Bend and Benton Harbor, MI) 1 day per week or every other week.

Additional Details:

No overnight travel required.
