Program Description
Our Winter Private Equity Analyst Program is an elite career development experience designed to prepare aspiring finance professionals for competitive roles in investment banking and private equity. The program combines hands-on financial modeling training, direct internship placement at a private equity firm, personalized 1-on-1 mentorship, and tailored recruiting support. Participants graduate with real-world experience, an analyst certification, and the technical skills and professional credibility needed to stand out in today’s competitive finance job market.
Internship Overview
As a Private Equity Analyst Intern, you’ll be immersed in live investment projects, supporting real transactions across business acquisitions, valuation modeling, and public equity analysis. You’ll work directly with experienced analysts and the managing partner of the firm, gaining hands-on experience in deal execution within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-performance environment. This is a unique opportunity to build tangible experience and sharpen your technical and strategic thinking in finance and private equity.
Internship objective
- Duration: 15 weeks (part-time, flexible schedule)
- Location: Online / Remote with virtual 1-on-1 Zoom sessions
- Gain real-world experience in finance, private equity, and investments
- Build proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and professional presentation skills
- Learn the fundamentals of investment banking, private equity, and hedge funds
- Strengthen communication, analytical thinking, and business writing skills

What You'll Work On - Analyst Responsibilities
As a Private Equity Analyst Intern, you will gain experience supporting real investment transactions and strategic advisory work. Your responsibilities will include:
- Build custom financial models, including LBO, M&A, and scenario analyses for evaluating investment opportunities
- Create pitch books, investor presentations, and deal memorandums for live and potential transactions
- Support business valuation efforts across various sectors using multiple methodologies
- Assist senior management in executing transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements
- Conduct industry, market, and company research to support investment decision-making
Compensation:
- Paid: $2000 - $3000 per successful deal executed.
- College credit eligible
Disclaimer: Participation in the internship is contingent upon successful completion of the Investment Banking Training Curriculum. This includes all required coursework, assessments, and project submissions.
Investment Banking Training Curriculum:
Our comprehensive training is modeled after real Wall Street analyst programs and is designed to equip students with the technical and professional skills needed to succeed in investment banking, private equity, and finance careers.
Core Curriculum (Duration: 4–6 weeks)
- Accounting fundamentals and financial statement analysis
- Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
- PowerPoint for investor presentations and pitch decks
- Equity research and stock analysis
- How to read and interpret SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K)
- Corporate valuation: DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions
- Advanced modeling: Leveraged Buyouts (LBO), Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Starter training: Students can enroll in our free starter Finance Success Track program, offering Excel, Accounting, and an introduction to financial modeling.
- Full training: Students who wish to enroll in the complete investment banking training program can expect a tuition fee to cover training, mentorship, and internship placement.
Qualifications:
- Our ideal candidates are college-level students with a strong work ethic and eager to learn.
- Seeking analyst training, career mentoring, and internship experience in the finance industry.
- Bachelor's degree (finance or business-related degree is a plus).
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
