Job Description
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Intern based at the Newark, NJ station. Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Intern is responsible for providing support in the administration of human resources management programs, policies, and best practices for all company employees across the United States.
Main Responsibilities
Assist the Human Resources Manager in various projects including but not limited to:
- Post and maintain active internal and external job postings.
- Coordinate and conduct reference checks.
- Schedule interviews with candidates.
- Prepare employment contracts.
- Coordinate completion of pre-hire requirements.
- Prepare and update employee files, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Foster a positive and compliant work environment.
- Communicate all relevant information to payroll.
- HR Administration & Reporting
- Prepare and update employee files (updating documents and filing).
- Draft internal letters, memos, and employee communications.
- Maintain accurate HR records and databases to ensure audit compliance.
