STAMP Event Co. is a full-service event company that provides event management, production, creative, guest experience and consulting services. STAMP is a certified Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprise based in NYC and LA. Founded in 2006, STAMP produces a broad variety of event types from intimate to large-scale gatherings including benefit galas and awards shows, multi-day corporate and destination conferences, entertainment premieres and openings, brand activations and experiences, and product launches.

Role
We’re looking for a passionate Event Intern to support our event team. Interns report directly to an Event Manager while also assisting with internal company projects.
Responsibilities
- Pre-Event Work:
- Research venues/virtual platforms, vendors, event trends
- Create production & logistics materials for the Event Team, such as timelines, talent sheets, etc.
- Assist with general database entry and guest communications
- Assist event managers during client meetings
- Research and negotiate suppliers
- Coordinate day-of event equipment and supply rentals
- Assist with talent logistics
- Manage event tasks with ownership and accountability
- Provide feedback to assist in decision-making
- On-Site Event Work
- Manage production office needs
- Assist on-site event staff with day-of tasks
- Support managing vendor load in & load out
- Post-Event Work
- Assist with event closeouts
- Collect and maintain press and event photos
- Ongoing Projects
- Work/attend all local events for the season
- Further develop and maintain social media across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, & TikTok)
Requirements
- Passion for event production and problem-solving solving both big and small event details
- Enthusiastic personality with clear and concise oral and written communication skills
- Ability to produce thorough, thoughtful, and complete work
- Juggle multiple tasks, while keeping an eye on priorities
- Think outside of the box
- Be solution-driven
- Get things done on your own and with a team
- Familiarity with macOS, Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, and Asana
- Social media experience
- Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not required!
Details
- Compensation: $17/hour
- Location: This is a remote, work from home position; however, due to event locations and in-person meetings, applicants must be based in NYC
- Operating Hours: 20 hours/week with flexible schedule based on company hours of 9am-6pm (NY office), plus nights and weekends for events as needed
- Vaccination Requirement: Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- ADA: While performing the duties of this position, the employee may be required to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. The employee must be able to bend, crouch, and lift/move objects weighing up to 15lbs.
