Position Overview
As a Design Engineer Intern, you will contribute to the development of next-generation memory products by assisting in circuit design, layout, and validation. This role offers hands-on experience in parasitic modeling, verification, and multi-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability and quality.
Responsibilities
Contribute to new product development through design, layout, and optimization of memory, logic, and analog circuits.
Perform parasitic modeling and assist in design validation.
Support reticle experiments and tape-out revisions.
Oversee layout processes including floor-planning, placement, and routing.
Implement verification using industry-standard modeling and simulation tools.
Collaborate across teams to standardize processes and drive group success.
Work with Marketing, Probe, Assembly, Test, Process Integration, and Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability.
Engage with Standards, CAD, modeling, and verification groups to improve design quality.
Drive innovation for future memory generations in a dynamic environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design principles.
Familiarity with simulation tools and layout methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with parasitic modeling and tape-out processes.
Exposure to semiconductor design workflows and multi-functional collaboration.
Knowledge of memory product development and validation.
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, TCL, Perl) for automation.
