Position Overview
We’re looking for a Drafter & Permitting Coordinator who is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and excited to contribute to our design-build process from concept to completion.
This hybrid role combines drafting and design documentation with permit coordination and
code compliance, ensuring our projects move smoothly through planning, approval, and
construction.

What You’ll Do
● Create accurate 2D floor plans for kitchens, bathrooms, and full-home
remodels.
● Prepare technical drawings and documents for permit submissions.
● Review architectural plans and ensure compliance with city, county, and state building
codes.

● Collaborate with design and construction teams to verify plan accuracy and
completeness.
● Communicate with building departments, inspectors, and plan reviewers to expedite
approvals.
● Maintain up-to-date records of permits, licenses, and inspections.
● Assist with contractor registration renewals and other regulatory documentation.
● Track project milestones and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
● Support internal teams with as-built drawings, revisions, and project documentation.

What We’re Looking For
● Experience or strong understanding of residential construction, permitting, or
remodeling.
● Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp (or similar drafting software).
● Working knowledge of Florida Building Code preferred.
● Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-up and multitasking skills.
● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
● Tech-savvy and proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) or Microsoft
Office.
● Experience reading and producing construction drawings.
● Positive, proactive, and eager to learn and grow with a top-tier remodeling team.
