This role offers an opportunity to mentor motivated high school students who are passionate about STEM and eager to learn. Our personalized tutoring approach helps students master challenging material, improve academic performance, and prepare for future research and academic pursuits.

Unlike typical tutoring programs, these students actively seek mentorship and guidance. You will work with engaged learners who share your enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

 

Responsibilities:

Conduct personalized one-on-one virtual tutoring sessions via Zoom (typically 1 hour per week per student).

Help students understand complex concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for exams.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and academic support in your subject area.

Maintain communication and scheduling flexibility to accommodate students’ needs.

 

Qualifications:

Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in a STEM field.

At least one year of teaching, tutoring, or mentorship experience (e.g., TA, tutor, mentor, or research guidance).

Strong proficiency in at least one STEM subject area (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Environmental Science, Astronomy, or related fields).

Ability to work at least two hours per week (no set minimum or maximum hours required).

 

Compensation & Benefits:

$20/hour (remote position)

Flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends

Paid training provided during your first week
