Internship Role Description

Position: HVAC Estimating & Preconstruction Intern
Department: Preconstruction / Estimating
Reports To: Preconstruction Manager or Senior Estimator

Role Purpose

To assist the estimating and preconstruction team in the accurate and timely preparation of HVAC project bids. Interns will gain hands-on experience with construction drawings, cost estimation, and customer meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints and project documents for HVAC systems
• Assist in take-offs and quantity calculations
• Support cost estimation using company templates and software
• Help identify vendor pricing and subcontractor quotes
• Visit active job sites for real-world insight into construction process
• Attend pre-bid and internal project planning meetings
• Work closely with project managers and field teams
