Creative Operations + Video Intern (For Academic Credit Only)

Internship Overview:
This internship is designed for students interested in creative operations, video editing, and storytelling within a lifestyle and small business context. The role provides hands-on learning in content organization, editing, and brand development while receiving mentorship from a professional creative entrepreneur.

The intern will learn how to translate visual assets into cohesive digital stories across multiple platforms, assisting in the creation of brand visuals, Reels/Shorts, and content calendars that align with seasonal campaigns.

Key Learning Areas:

Creative storytelling and aesthetic branding for small lifestyle businesses

Video editing and visual direction (short-form content for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram)

Digital content organization and creative workflow systems

Brand voice, narrative strategy, and digital storytelling techniques

Cross-platform publishing and analytics basics

Internship Structure:

Supervised weekly creative check-ins with brand founder, Ashlee Alexandra

Collaborative project outlines, mentorship feedback, and portfolio development opportunities

Midterm and final review focused on progress, creative growth, and skill-building

Ideal Candidate:

Currently enrolled student eligible for academic credit

Organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about creativity, design, and social media storytelling

Familiar with Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Premiere (not required but a plus)

Note:
This internship is unpaid and structured in alignment with Department of Labor and Otis College internship standards. All work performed is for educational training purposes, with the primary focus on creative learning, professional growth, and portfolio development.
