Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking driven and ambitious individuals to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program. Intern Mission and Outcomes:
The intern role will involve:
• Deliver comprehensive reports with recommendations to provide information on Congressional and Administrative impacts on the VA Community Care program.
• Create a presentation summarizing their findings and experience to be shared with Tria senior leadership.
• Develop professional skills in analysis, communication, and project management.
The primary goals for the internship include:
To contribute to excellence of our MVA VA Community Care contracts by analyzing current trends from Capitol Hill, identifying areas for efficiencies (both internally and with VA clients), and supporting strategic initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in Congressional research, process optimization, and executive-level presentation development.
Networking Opportunities:

Feedback and Supervision:
• Weekly check-ins with the internship supervisor to track progress and address challenges.
• Midpoint evaluation to provide feedback on performance and set future goals.
• Final performance review, including constructive feedback and a recommendation letter for outstanding interns.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Congressional Analysis: Analyze data from Congressional meetings and proposals, identify impacts to VA Community Care, and develop information presentations for Tria VA contractors.
2. Strategic Support: Assist in the development of strategic initiatives, including creating reports and presentations.
3. Project Management: Contribute to the planning and execution of one key project under the supervision of a senior team member.
4. Research: Benchmark industry practices to inform client strategies.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for updated processes or recommendations.
Required Qualifications (Skills and Capabilities):
Candidates should possess:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting and independently as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Required Education and Experience:
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Prior internship or coursework in operations or business strategy is preferred but not required.
