NPO Advocacy & Outreach Intern

About Us:

The CyberSafely Foundation is the nonprofit arm of CyberSafely.ai, dedicated to educating, empowering, and protecting youth, parents, and communities from the growing dangers of online exploitation, cyberbullying, and social media harms. We work with schools, parent organizations, and community leaders to raise awareness and provide access to effective digital safety solutions.

Position Overview:

We are seeking motivated and mission-driven Advocacy & Outreach Interns to help expand the Foundation’s presence in schools, parent groups, and local communities. This role is perfect for students interested in marketing, public relations, nonprofit management, or social impact who want hands-on experience making a difference in digital safety and child protection.

Key Responsibilities:

Support awareness campaigns and community outreach initiatives.

Assist in building partnerships with schools, PTAs/PTOs, and youth organizations.

Develop and share engaging content for social media, newsletters, and presentations.

Help coordinate events, webinars, and educational workshops.

Research and identify opportunities for grants, sponsorships, or collaborations.

Represent the CyberSafely Foundation in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

Marketing

Communication

Business Development

Public Relations

Education

Nonprofit Management

Cybersecurity or Information Technology (with an interest in community education)

Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for protecting children and promoting digital wellness.

Reliable, organized, and proactive in a remote environment.

Comfortable speaking with educators, parents, and community leaders.

Experience with social media, Canva, or HubSpot is a plus.
