Occupational Therapy Assistants Join Our Neurodiverse Innovation Team
South Brunswick, NJ | Part-Time | Contract-to-Hire

At Akhil Autism Foundation – Sensory Pathway Center, we believe in whole-body learning and movement as medicine. Our programs integrate sensory-motor activities, mindfulness, and creative expression to help neurodiverse learners build confidence, regulation, and independence.

We are seeking OTA, COTA ,Recreational Therapist, PTAs who are passionate about bringing movement and mindfulness into autism and neurodevelopmental care.

Your Role

  • Lead engaging wellness-based sessions for individuals and small groups.
  • Integrate fun, movement-rich activities that support sensory regulation, body awareness, and confidence.
  • Collaborate with OTs, Recreational Therapists, and our multidisciplinary team to align sessions with therapy goals.
  • Inspire neurodiverse learners through creativity, structure, and joy in movement.

Qualifications

  • Certification or strong background in special need community instruction.
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse learners and a passion for movement-based teaching.
  • Creativity, patience, and ability to adapt to individual needs.
