Summer Analyst Intern
Trinity Investors is seeking rising college seniors to join the firm's investments team for an internship during the Summer of 2026. The right candidates will work alongside the firm's Analysts, Associates, and Portfolio Managers to assist with due diligence, fundraising, deal execution, and investor management. Summer Analyst Interns will gain exposure to the entire investment lifecycle: sourcing and underwriting, capital raising and transaction closing, investment management, and dispositions. We are looking for bright, well-rounded individuals with previous internship(s) in the finance/real estate industry and an interest in pursuing a career in alternative investments. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented and excel in a team-based environment. Analyst Interns will focus their efforts on commercial real estate transactions, market analysis, and portfolio management. Summer Analyst Interns may travel as needed for due diligence trips and portfolio management site visits.
This internship will take place at our corporate headquarters located at 2102 E State Highway 114, Suite 300, Southlake, Texas 76092.
Essential Functions
- Assist in due diligence and underwriting of prospective acquisitions and developments
- Provide support for the acquisition, financing, development, and disposition process
- Prepare financial modeling to support and guide both acquisition and asset management decisions
- Produce internal and external investment memoranda and other ad hoc quantitative and qualitative reports in connection with potential investments
- Assist with analysis of the overall market and monitor industry trends
- Draft investor materials: executive summary, full prospectus, presentations, quarterly reports, portfolio analysis, etc.
- Take on ad hoc projects and support all other teammates with their work as needed
Required Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or other relevant subject (must graduate Winter 2026 or Spring 2027))
- Demonstrated interest in alternative investments or commercial real estate
- Proficient in Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Power Point
- Availability to work 40+ hours per week during the approx. 12-week summer internship program
- Minimum 3.5 overall GPA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize conclusions and confidently present well-supported arguments for or against specific investment opportunities
- Notable interpersonal skills and comfortable collaborating with others
- Ability to focus under pressure
- Excellent critical reasoning, quantitative, and analytical skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly
- Strong ability to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines across several projects with different managers
