Police Officer
The Milford Police Department is currently accepting application materials for the position of full-time Police Officer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Applicants for this position must possess the following minimum qualifications at the time of application.
• 60 credit hours from an accredited educational institution.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Vehicle Operator’s License with a satisfactory driving record.
• Certified or certifiable by the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES).
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Pass an interview, comprehensive background investigation, as well as medical and psychological exams.
• Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
WAGES & BENEFITS
• Starting Pay: $62,385.39
• 5-year top-out: $91,218.36
• Lateral Transfer Starting Pay: Up to $80,900.98 (dependent on experience)

• 12-hour shifts, 84-hour pay periods, alternating weekends off
