Sales Assistant

Global Airtech has an immediate opening for a Sales Assistant at our Reno, Nevada location. This is a full-time position, responsible for providing day-to-day organization and operational support for Sales Executives and other individuals in the Sales department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support sales colleagues in achieving overall organizational goals, including sales growth, on-time delivery, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure fast response times to customer requests and uphold the highest standards of customer service.
  • Enter customer Requests for Quotes (RFQs) into Pentagon.
  • Prepare and enter sales quotations on behalf of Sales Executives or other team members.
  • Process customer orders by entering them as Sales Orders in Pentagon.
  • Coordinate delivery of merchandise and services to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Maintain quality service by adhering to organizational standards and procedures.
  • Provide customers with requested information such as documentation, images, and delivery updates.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Source non-stock items requested by customers using ILS and analyze market pricing trends under the direction of a trainer and/or supervisor.
  • Contact vendors and/or review Manufacturer or OEM websites to obtain part pricing and availability.
  • Negotiate pricing with vendors to optimize profit margins.
  • Enter and process Purchase Orders in Pentagon.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows as needed.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks and goals.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Upper Management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or customer service functions
  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus
