Community Outreach Intern

Overview:

We need someone who is highly motivated and passionate about community engagement. This position offers hands-on experience in relationship building within the community, advancing affordable housing solutions and event coordination. You'll play a vital role in connecting our mission with the broader community by helping to strengthen partnerships and inspire action.

Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing community events and advocacy campaigns.

Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations, schools, businesses, and faith groups to expand our network.

Support volunteer recruitment, scheduling and track volunteer hours.

Help create marketing materials and social media content to promote outreach initiatives. 

Assist in updating our website to promote donations.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Passion for serving others and making a difference in the community.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

Available to work 10-15 per weekday.
