University Program (Various Roles)

University Program - Various Roles

Tableful context:

Tableful is a social ticketing marketplace that offers innovative tools to promote events and upgrade guest experience. We work with venues, event organizers, on-site promoters, and other guests to host on Tableful. This can be for any event, including concerts, nightclubs, festivals, sports box seats, balcony seats at theaters, yachts, and anything else we can ‘carpool’, fractionalizing larger costs and allowing per-person access. We convert VIP tables/spaces at any event to community hubs of upgraded experiences for like-minded people attending that event. Users can do it among their friends only, or join other people for a more social alternative.

For Tableful purposes, let's consider any pod/group that needs to be organized for an event to occur as a ‘table’. It can actually be any event, such as collecting funds with your on-campus group to do an activity. You can use Tableful to collect “Requests," which are promises & payment authorization from people to pitch in once you accept their request. The host accepts requests and charges everyone only after there are enough commitments.

Tableful’s platform offers various tools in addition to this, including:

  • Full ticketing system for regular tickets, RSVP, full tables, and our novel VIP Seats
  • A portal where guests can request access rather than buying immediately; here, you can see guests’ basic info, images, and social media links; communicate with them through the app
  • Allows the host to charge guests additional amounts through the app, and the guest confirms on-app to make payment. All this is tracked, and relevant promoters are paid.
  • Flexible RSVP system that charges per guest for requests made and arrivals separately, paying the promoters who brought the guests
  • And more!

Opportunities to earn with Tableful:

  • Host VIP spaces and charge guests for access; markup from base price as much as you can/want
  • Promoter Commission: Contractor shall earn 80% of the promoter share (typically 10% of the purchase cost) for all sales generated using their promo code, whether full tables, seats, tickets, or guest list RSVPs.
  • Account Management Commission: If Contractor manages accounts on behalf of Tableful, they shall earn a 5% commission on profits from that host's sales.
  • New Account Commission: Contractor shall earn a 5% commission on profits from any new Host accounts they add to the Tableful network, until they receive a total of $1,000-$10,000 from that account. These Host accounts can be for Venues, Promotions (event organizers), and Promoters (table hosts).

Message to Students:
At Tableful, you can take on multiple roles. Many students begin in one position and expand into others. The best way to learn and maximize income is to experience the full flow: promoting → onboarding → hosting → managing. Roles pay differently:

  • Promoters earn per-ticket commissions.
  • Ambassadors earn capped host referral commissions.
  • Account Managers earn an ongoing % from host fees.
  • Hosts keep the difference between what they charge and the costs.

By combining roles, you build multiple income streams while gaining valuable experience.
