HR Tech & Data Workflow Specialist NEW
Hope For Youth is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and service-driven HR Tech & Data Workflow Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Amityville NY. This vital role ensures smooth HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, systems processing, and team coordination.
You'll focus on improving HR data accuracy, streamlining workflows, and optimizing tools and systems - with a strong emphasis on using MS365 applications, ADP Workforce Now, ATS, and other data workflow platforms. You'll also support key initiatives around recruitment, retention, analytics, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Support full-cycle onboarding and offboarding, including document management, orientation coordination, and systems access.
Assist with recruitment logistics and marketing: job postings, resume screening, scheduling, and candidate communication.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data.
Generate and prepare HR reports and documentation as requested.
Process employee changes such as promotions, leaves, and terminations.
Enroll employees in training programs, track completion dates, and send reminders.
Ensure compliance with policies and employment laws, maintaining required documentation.
Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency and employee experience.
Engage in social media, marketing and branding efforts to strengthen awareness, recruiting and retention initiatives.
Qualifications
1–2 years of experience in Human Resources, administration, or related field (nonprofit experience a plus).
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; bilingual in English and Spanish preferred (supplemental pay available if qualified).
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, ATS platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and mail merge tools.
A self-starter who thrives both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, creative and dependable.
Additional Information
Employment Type: Full-time, onsite Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm (flexible), 35 Hour workweek.
