Position Overview:
The Video Editor Intern at Projxon will assist in producing high-quality, engaging video content that enhances the organization’s storytelling, branding, and marketing initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in editing, post-production, and visual media creation while working alongside a dynamic creative and communications team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, innovative, and passionate about creating visually compelling content that aligns with Projxon’s mission and audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and assemble video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal projects.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure consistent style, tone, and brand identity across all media.
Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and sound design to enhance visual storytelling.
Organize and manage video files, maintaining efficient project workflows and version control.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proficiency with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with motion graphics or animation (After Effects or similar).
Knowledge of color correction, sound mixing, and export settings for various platforms.
Familiarity with social media video formats and content trends.
Portfolio or reel showcasing editing and post-production work.
Internship Details:
Hours: 10-30 hours per week (part-time).
Duration: 180 days, starting from the agreed upon start date.
Compensation: This internship is unpaid and designed for educational purposes only.
Location: Remote (U.S.-based time zones preferred, but open to international candidates).
