About the Role

The Operations internship will include working directly with members of the Event and Operations staff on various projects. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the management of the firm’s ongoing logistical operations, in a hands-on fashion.
  • Assist with the logging, and management, of a growing inventory of event and production assets.
  • Assist with the management of asset shipping, dealing closely with FedEx and freight shippers
  • Maintain an organized office 
  • Assist with day to day office tasks; answering phones, making copies, filing, etc.
  • Assist and support other departments within the organization as needed


 

What We’re Looking For

  • Interest in a career in public policy, political campaigns, and/or event planning
  • Hospitality, Events and/or Customer Service Background
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Experience in Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets are a must
  • Experience with Zoom and other online conferencing tools
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Well organized with an eye for detail
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Ability to work well under minimal supervision
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time in an efficient manner
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds



 

Details

  • Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate academic commitments
  • Paid internship ( $18 per hour.)
  • Opportunity to pick up more hours outside business hours and on the weekends
  • Opportunity to extend based on performance and academic schedule

The application period for the Spring 2026 Internship Program is now open, and we are reviewing applications on a rolling basis. The spring program dates will begin in mid-January through June, with some flexibility.
