Finance Student Worker

The Finance Team at the University of California, Irvine School of Law is seeking a student –

with work-study award - to join our team in providing general administrative support, creating financial documents, and processing reimbursements. This is a great opportunity to earn money while you develop professional office skills and learn about law school and general finance.

The team will gladly provide guidance and training on all tasks and projects.

The responsibilities of the Student Assistant may include:

- Printing, copying, scanning, typing, and filing

- Records Management

- Document creation such as invoices and deposit advice using the KFS system

- Bring check deposits to the central cashier

- Process reimbursements and invoice payments

- Special Projects as Assigned

Student Assistants must be able to work independently, exercise good judgment, produce

accurate work, maintain confidentiality, and communicate appropriately with a wide range of

constituents, as well as be reliable and conscientious of their work.

Additional qualifications include:

- Availability to work approx. 8-15 hours/week

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred

- Prior work experience in an office setting or in a customer service capacity

- Commitment to customer service

- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor to see tasks to completion

- Willingness to change directions and projects as needed

- Self-starter with strong attention to detail and personal organizational skills
