Position Summary

 

As the Project Management Coordinator, you will serve as the backbone of our project delivery process. Reporting to our Project Managers, as well as the Operational Leadership Team.  You will coordinate project activities, ensure clear communication between stakeholders, track timelines, assist with documentation and support the field and office teams to deliver on-time, on-budget, high-quality work. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a well-respected, stable company where project management is central to how we operate. 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project schedules, track milestones and ensure critical path items are monitored.

• Coordinate between sales/estimating, engineering, procurement, field technicians and subcontractors to ensure alignment of deliverables.

• Maintain and update project documentation (drawings, submittals, change orders, RFIs, daily logs, punch-lists).

• Monitor material procurement and deliveries; liaise with vendors and suppliers under just-in-time model for efficiency. 

• Facilitate project status meetings, capture action items and distribute updates to stakeholders.

• Track project budgets and coordinate with accounting for cost reporting, change order management and approvals.

• Ensure site-supervision and field teams have all necessary information, drawings and support to execute.

• Identify and escalate project risks or issues (schedule delays, scope changes, design conflicts) to Project Manager.

• Assist with close-out activities: punch-list verification, commissioning, certifications, final documentation and hand-off.

• Uphold the company’s values of quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, strong communication and community service.

 

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management, engineering technology, or related field preferred.

• 2-4 years experience in project coordination or project management support within the commercial wiring, low-voltage, or electrical contracting industry preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project or equivalent) and comfortable learning project management software/tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to coordinate multiple teams and external partners.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals, specifications, and contract documents preferred.

• Familiarity with budget tracking, cost reporting, and change-order workflow desired.

• Willingness to travel regionally to job sites within our service area (PA, NJ, DE, MD & VA) as needed.
