Entry-Level Sales Manager (Insurance Agency) — Full-Time, In-Office → Hybrid after 6 months
Base Salary: $60,000 + Commission (production-tied) + Bonus (KPI-tied)
Location: Chicago, IL (in-office first 6 months; hybrid eligibility thereafter)
About the Role
Run the sales rhythm for a modern P&C/Life shop. You’ll manage lead flow, coach producers, forecast weekly, and lift close rate, bundling, and life attach—all while protecting compliance.
What You’ll Do (Insurance-Specific)
Own the Plan: Set monthly/quarterly items & premium by producer; build the quotes → binds model; publish weekly forecasts.
Lead Management: Route lead sources (internet, live transfers, win-backs, renewals). Enforce speed-to-lead < 5 mins, cadences, clean dispositions.
Coaching: Call reviews, objection maps (rate, prior claims, youthful drivers), cross-sell pivots (auto↔home↔umbrella/life), and script calibration.
Campaigns: Renewal save list (15–40% increases), company transfers, dormant quote re-shops, referral & review flywheel.
Quality & Compliance: Verify disclosures, documentation, payment protocols, E&O guardrails; align to carrier/state rules.
Carrier/Lender Partners: Work with marketing reps/underwriters to unblock deals; track partner ROI (realtors, lenders, auto dealers).
Scoreboards: Publish weekly producer dashboards (quotes, binds, close %, $ per item, bundling %, life attach %, telematics enrollments).
Hiring & Ramp: Assist recruiting; run 30-60-90 plans; certify producers on tools, process, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (required)
1+ year office experience (required)—sales ops, SDR/AE, team lead, or service-to-sales
Data-driven organizer with strong written/phone communication and coaching instincts
Comfortable in CRMs/dialers and carrier quoting portals
Nice to Have
Prior insurance exposure; bilingual skills; live-transfer/internet lead experience
