Marketing & Community Engagement Intern (Immediate Start)
Overview:
Myti is a Burlington-based e-commerce startup reimagining how communities shop local. Our platform connects independent Vermont retailers with nearby customers through a shared online marketplace and delivery network — helping small shops compete in a digital economy dominated by big-box retailers.
We’re looking for an intern to support Myti’s marketing and community engagement efforts — spanning digital campaigns, in-person outreach, and creative projects. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to help shape how Vermonters discover and connect with their local stores.
Scope of Work:
The intern will collaborate with Myti’s leadership on both digital and grassroots marketing initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting with social media content, email marketing, and community newsletters.
• Helping design visual materials such as flyers, posters, and digital graphics.
• Supporting on-the-ground outreach — including postering, lit drops, and tabling at local events.
• Coordinating promotional efforts around campaigns like Small Business Saturday and “Shop Local” events.
• Gathering feedback from shoppers and retailers to inform Myti’s marketing strategy.
Skills/Tools:
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools; comfort using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn); strong writing and communication skills. Interest in community building, small business, or sustainability is a plus.

This role helps expand Myti’s reach, driving more customers to local stores and strengthening Vermont’s independent business community.
Time Commitment:
10–20 hours per week (part-time, flexible schedule, hybrid).
Compensation: $15–$18/hour, based on experience.
