Stretch Therapist

STRETCHMED WESTFORD is hiring a part-time stretch therapists that wants to GROW with an exciting new company!

We are looking for athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, kinesiologists, massage therapists, physical therapy assistants, nurses, and those with a degree or license in a related field, including certified personal trainers. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and GROW in a new modality that is taking the fitness industry by storm.

STRETCHMED® is a leader in 1-on-1 partner assisted stretching. Our offerings and model were developed by a team of degreed fitness professional who have over 50 years of combined hands-on experience with various stretch techniques, running upscale fitness studios, and developing staff.

STRETCHMED® uses a combination of PNF and static stretching techniques to deliver our purpose: To eliminate chronic pain, increase mobility, rejuvenate, and help you move well! Our certified Stretch Therapists™ (CST™) work with clients in 1-on-1 sessions, anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week, depending on their needs and goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Be positive, proactive, and punctual with a professional work ethic.
  • Attend staff meetings as required.
  • Handle client concerns when appropriate.
  • Encourage and motivate clients throughout their sessions.
  • Assist in the membership sales process.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods while physically manipulating clients through a passive range of motion with periodic resistance, in order to administer the proprietary STRETCHMED® stretch protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must, as therapists will need to explain the stretches and make recommendations, as well as establish relationships between the studio and clients.
  • Good understanding of anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment used.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow systems.
