Position Overview:
We are seeking numerous driven, passionate and creative Marketing Assistantto join our team. The individual will support the team in managing social media operations, planning a posting calendar, and assisting the Events Team with event planning and execution. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the business world when it comes to marketing and event coordination.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a relationship contact on client accounts, coordinating communication, project plans and maintaining a proactive and positive client experience
- Assist in managing and operating official social media accounts (The Red Note, WeChat, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.), including content creation, editing, and publishing.
- Manage, update and execute a social media posting calendar to promote events and maintain engagement.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
- Support event planning and execution for both in-person and online events.
- Assist in creating promotional materials, email campaigns, and other content to enhance event visibility and participation.
- Conduct market research, track trends, and analyze campaign performance.
- Work closely with a small but mighty team of creatives, marketers, and strategists.
- Perform other related tasks as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Prior experience in social media marketing is preferred, with a creative mind and passion for social media, branding and storytelling.
- Familiarity with platforms like Little Red Note, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging digital trends.
- Excellent communication skills (verbally and in writing) and interpersonal skills.
- Must be Bilingual in Chinese Mandarin (speak, read and type)
- Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently with multiple deliverables.
- Basic understanding of event planning and willingness to assist in event execution.
- Proficiency with image/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, Capcut) is a plus and familiar with AI tools.
- Self-starter mindset — you’re proactive, organized, and eager to learn in a fast-paced/ambiguous environment.
- Bonus: Interest or experience in working with businesses, content creators, startups, or in digital marketing.
