Job Description
The T3 Social Engagement intern supports T3 social engagement and marketing initiatives, with a main focus on community management. This role will assist with all consumer engagement, including inbox management, commenting and responses, as well as flag and escalate any customer care concerns immediately. This role will work closely with the Associate Manager of Social Engagement and the Social Engagement Coordinator in engaging with our online community. This role will assist in mining and sourcing UGC content and flag potential creators for UGC creation.
This role is for someone who has an interest pursuing a career in marketing, has a strong passion for the social space and solid understanding of key as well as emerging social platforms and trends. This role also requires someone who has tact and critical thinking skills to respond to unique situations that can arise in the social space. A desire to always improve, collaborate, innovate, and learn more will help you succeed in this role as will a ‘get it done’ attitude with a smile.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Community Management:
- Respond to direct messages and comments, or traffic inquiries to appropriate team members when necessary.
- Engage with all T3 tagged posts and stories.
- Search for and engage with relevant posts in which T3 is not mentioned or tagged in.
- Send exceptional posts to larger social and influencer teams for repost consideration, affiliate program inclusion or influencer seeding.
- Notify Influencer team of any missed influencer tagged T3 posts.
Content Sourcing and Creation:
- Monitor social media platforms daily to seek content and content creators T3 can leverage and work with.
- Monitor social media platforms and trends daily, constantly seeking opportunities for T3 to participate in.
- Proactively pitch content ideas and content creators.
- Film and edit content as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Working towards or recently graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications, art, creative writing, marketing, or related field.
- Interest in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle industries
- Well-versed in all social platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- MAC & PC proficient
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt to follow brand voice guidelines.
- Must be detail-oriented and a quick learner.
- Must have strong communication, interpersonal, organization, and file management skills; excellent prioritization skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Enjoys a highly collaborative environment where learning is almost as important as executing.
Other Information:
- Work Schedule: 5 weekdays per week
- Rate of Pay: $20 per hour
- Work Hours: 4 hours a day (Flexible)
- Hybrid with 2-3 days a week in the office in Santa Monica
