Construction Project Manager
Job Summary: The Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of a construction project, from inception to completion. This includes coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards and quality specifications. The Project Manager plays a key role in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all resources are aligned to meet project goals.
- Coordinate and schedule activities across all phases of the construction process, from design and pre-construction to post-construction.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that plans are followed, changes are tracked, and project goals are met.

Budget and Cost Management:
- Create and maintain project budgets, ensuring that the project stays within financial constraints.
- Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices, tracking expenses to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify potential cost overruns early and take corrective action to keep the project within budget.

Procurement and Contract Management:
- Oversee the procurement of materials, labor, and equipment needed for the project, ensuring that all materials meet quality standards and are available when needed.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure favorable terms and compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure that contractual obligations are met.

- Lead, supervise, and mentor construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and support staff.
- Ensure all team members adhere to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Foster effective communication within the project team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

- Monitor the construction site for adherence to safety standards, industry regulations, and quality requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess quality of work and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Address and resolve any quality or safety issues promptly to prevent delays or accidents.

Project Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed project records, including contracts, change orders, permits, and daily logs.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to stakeholders, including updates on project timelines, budget, risks, and issues.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed, filed, and accessible for audits or inspections.

Problem Solving and Risk Management:
- Identify and address potential risks and issues that may affect project timelines, budgets, or quality.
- Resolve conflicts between stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors to keep the project on track.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and their concerns are addressed promptly.

- Experience: Experience in construction project management, with a track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
