Physical Therapy Aide
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. As a vital part of the patient care experience, the aide will support our licensed physical therapists in delivering hands-on care and maintaining a clean and efficient clinic environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas and patients for therapy sessions
- Set up and clean equipment before and after use
- Guide patients through prescribed exercises under the direction of the physical therapist
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Monitor and restock supplies as needed
- Perform clerical duties including answering phones, patient scheduling, filing, and data entry, as needed
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to all patients and visitors
- Assist with general clinic operations and support the therapy team as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Physically able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist with patient mobility
Preferred: - Prior experience in a healthcare or fitness setting
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Interest in physical therapy, kinesiology, or related health sciences
