Mandarin (Simplified Chinese) Linguist – AI Data Project (Part-Time, Remote)

We’re seeking Mandarin Linguists to join an AI research and data labeling project that enhances how language models understand and process natural Mandarin. You’ll review, annotate, and evaluate Mandarin-language content across text, audio, and multimedia to help train next-generation AI systems.

This part-time, remote role offers flexible hours, ideal for linguists, translators, or detail-oriented professionals passionate about AI and language.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and label Mandarin text and audio for accuracy and tone.

Review AI-generated content for linguistic and cultural quality.

Transcribe and annotate speech data.

Identify and report translation or context errors.

Follow project guidelines and log work using online tools.

Qualifications:

Native-level fluency in Mandarin (Simplified Chinese).

Strong English proficiency (reading and writing).

Must be based outside Mainland China.

Experience in linguistics, translation, or data annotation preferred.

Reliable computer, internet, and attention to detail required.
