Podcast Producer
Role Overview
You’ll work directly with our founders, Crystal Burke, FNP-C, and Steven Youngblood, MD, to plan, produce, and launch a professional-quality podcast. This is a 1099 contract role perfect for a college student or new graduate with skills in media, communications, or marketing — and an interest in storytelling, branding, and women’s health.
🔹 Responsibilities
Planning & Pre-Launch
Collaborate on show concept, tone, and format
Research and recommend recording platforms and equipment (Riverside, Zoom, Descript, etc.)
Coordinate guest scheduling, outlines, and production timelines
Design or oversee podcast artwork, cover art, and thumbnails consistent with brand
Write and produce a podcast trailer (30–90 seconds) with intro/outro and music integration
Develop intro/outro scripts and select royalty-free music
Production & Editing
Edit all episodes (audio/video cleanup, trimming, intro/outro insertion, mastering)
Set up and manage podcast hosting and distribution (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube)
Create episode titles, descriptions, and show notes
Produce short promotional clips and audiograms for social media
Launch & Promotion
Manage episode uploads and publishing schedule
Collaborate on social media promotion and email launch campaigns
Track and analyze downloads, engagement, and reach
Recommend improvements for audience growth and visibility
🔹 Skills & Qualifications
Experience with podcast production (editing, uploading, or managing a show)
Proficient in audio/video editing tools (Descript, Audacity, GarageBand, or CapCut)
Familiar with podcast hosting platforms (Spotify for Podcasters, Buzzsprout, Podbean, etc.)
Experience with graphic and content creation tools (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite)
Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills
Creative, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Interest in women’s health, media, or digital storytelling a plus

Type: 1099 Contract (independent contractor)
Hours: 5–10 hours/week (flexible)
Compensation: $18–$22/hour depending on experience
Location: Remote or hybrid (New Orleans preferred)
Start Date: November 2025
Duration: 3–4 months (with opportunity for ongoing content production)
