Position Purpose:
Our 3-doctor team has a deep interest in surgery, comprehensive wellness care, and diagnostic/sick pet care, but we'd love to add your passions to our team! Our doctors are assisted by a highly confident support staff with multiple assistants, client care specialists, and kennel assistants.

Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care to small animal patients
- Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent communication and compassionate care
- Collaborate closely with fellow veterinarians and support staff to provide the best patient outcomes
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
- Participate in mentorship and contribute to a positive, team-focused culture
Your Day-to-Day
- Examine and treat companion animals to detect and determine the nature of disease or injuries.
- Diagnostics and internal medicine. Operate diagnostic equipment and collect diagnostic samples as well as interpret results.
- Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options, and prescribe medication as needed.
- Perform surgery including spays/neuters
- Educating and building rapport with clients
- Provide counsel around pet end of life care.
- Maintain patients’ medical records.
- Ensures compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statues, policies, and procedures.
- Full-time schedule: 4-day week, flexible if needed, every other Saturday (off by Noon)
Requirements/Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited AVMA institution.
- Appropriate state licensure.
- Eligibility to obtain DEA/BNDD.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in general medicine, dentistry, and surgery
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation consistently with staff and clients.
- Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 25 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 25 pounds with assistance.
